Senior JavaScript Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior JavaScript Engineer for a company based in the London Bridge area. The JavaScript Engineer will be required to lead the development of a distributed frontend system built in Angular and REST APIs using NodeJs.

The candidate will develop world class software in a fast paced, leading environment with a dependency on automated testing. They will own the entire delivery process from development to deployment and operational support. They will undertake pair programming frequently to ensure you are constantly developing your skills and those of other team members. You will keep a constant eye on changes in the tech landscape and emerging technologies that are applicable, to allow you to contribute to active design discussions. You will drive ongoing improvement of software development practices and processes. You will also be required to support the legacy PHP system while migrating to our new systems (this is 10% of the work). You will own the entire delivery process from development, to deployment and operational support.The candidate will hold a deep technical understanding of JavaScript - ideally Angular, Node.JS and Typescript or similar.
