Business Effectiveness SME - 6 Months - London

A well renowned Top Tier Bank is seeking a Business Effectiveness SME to join a team to a assist in the impact of a new transformation project within the bank.

Role Deliverables :

  • Work with technology teams to establish common set of metrics to drive and monitor the impact across
  • Improve domain and team understanding of programmes metrics and work with them to prioritise metric production, targeting and experimentation
  • Promote metrics-led continuous improvement of programme delivery processes within teams and domains
  • Develop and execute metrics sourcing, calculation processes, surveys / assessments (e.g. customer / staff satisfaction) and dashboard creation; including identification of improvement opportunities within IT operations to increase automation, efficiency and quality
  • Gather feedback, pilot and continuously improve the metrics / dashboards to deliver insights which can be supported with data
  • Research, analyse and partner (where required) to deliver production grade metrics / dashboards that can be scaled across multiple domains and teams, including development of architecture or partnering with 3rd parties to deliver at scale
  • Promote common calculation standards across programmes and domains ( e.g. outcomes delivered )
  • Attend/promote daily stand-ups and JIRA updates

Skills / Experience :

  • Degree or professional qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related discipline with IT focus
  • Technology or Finance background
  • Demonstrated 1-3 years of project methodology experience (e.g. Agile, 6 Sigma, Lean, SDLC)
  • Strong analytical skills or experience in order to create and drive enterprise metrics and reporting
  • Experience in metrics / dashboard creation and using MI to create scalable production grade metrics / dashboards
  • Experience in building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, communicating and influencing effectively at all levels of an organisation
  • Experience in coaching / mentoring project team members or developing training content a plus
