Test Manager for Data Programmes - Reference Data; Party Lifecycle; Data Quality, Data Governance & Claims

Role Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage a 'joined up' and holistic approach and strategy to testing (including system; integration; regression & performance testing) across all components of the Data Programmes
  • Ensure adherence & contribute to corporate QA standards and toolsets
  • Liaise with the central QA team to close any gaps in processes and/or best practice
  • Work with the central QA team to define QA/UAT metrics & KPI's across the Data Programmes
  • Working with upstream & downstream platform owners: Agree UAT requirements, approach, methodology & sign-off criteria Work with the central QA team to define continuous improvement objectives, processes and metrics
  • Work with the central QA team to define non-functional testing requirements & manage/monitor their implementation
  • Promote regression test automation and reduction of 'time to market' for releases
  • Working with the Release, Environment & Configuration Manager: Agree environment requirements; release content & sign-off procedures; post deployment 'smoke test' procedures
  • Working with the delivery teams: Agree/define a process for prioritising development fixes, deployment & re-test
  • Working with delivery teams & the Release, Environment & Configuration Manager : Agree/define an approach to production break-fix releases

Essential Skills/Experience Specific to Role

  1. Proven experience across multiple large scale programmes in test management/test architect roles
  2. A self-assured, collaborative, cooperative, dynamic personality
  3. Ability to develop detailed plans; identify, track and manage dependencies, risk & issues
