People Services Manager / HR Shared Services Manager
We are currently looking for an experienced People Services Manager for a leading global organisation based in Cambridge.
The People Services Manager for UK and Ireland will be responsible for providing a professional HR advisory service to the region to support the business in achieving its operational and long-term objectives. They will run a multi-country professional HR Shared Service and Payroll; ensuring deliverables are met in line with best practice and agreed SLAs.
They will be responsible for leading the People agenda and influencing key stakeholders across the region. The role will be to shape and implement transformation and change in region in partnership with Centres of Excellence and People Business Partners. The candidate will be an experienced HR professional with extensive generalist HR experience with a strong background in employee relations. They will be educated to degree level or equivalent CIPD.
They will have proven experience in employee relations, performance management culture, engagement and change management.
They will have the willingness and ability to frequently travel to various sites within the region and other office locations. They will hold an excellent customer focus and result orientation. They will be highly motivated, collaborative and outcome driven with a common sense, pragmatic and practical approach. They will have the ability to make good decisions and drive to follow through on commitments and good experience of managing and developing a strong HR Shared Services team
The candidate will hold excellent coaching, interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to have a point of view and share opinion in a skilfully, authentic way with others. They will have the ability to successfully influence at all levels within the organisation while being particularly effective at influencing senior leaders across the region, and apply innovation to solutions, adapting new approaches. They will have proven experience in delivery in change management and be unafraid to challenge the status quo.
