Executive Assistant

An Executive Assistant is required to support the exec team with our client a leading Fintech (for good) start-up taking the world by storm and changing the way we send money overseas, based in London Victoria, on a permanent basis.

The EA will be responsible for supporting the Exec Team in all their day to day activities.

Skills required of the Executive Assistant:

  • Experience of International Diary Management
  • Previous experience supporting C-Level executives
  • Strong MS office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in a busy and fast paced office environment
  • Self-motivated; ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions autonomously
  • Excellent organisation skills and proactive, flexible to meet working requirements
  • Articulate and a strong communicator with extreme attention to detail and ability to spot error
  • Committed to personal and professional development
  • A mix of corporate and non-corporate or start up experience is desirable

Key Responsibilities of the Executive Assistant:

  • International Diary management of Exec Team members when necessary across multiple time zones, predominantly the US east and west coast
  • Travel arrangements for Exec Team, other senior executives and staff in smaller offices globally (flights, cars, hotels etc.)
  • Registering guests by email via the building reception team, greeting visitors on behalf of the Exec team at the reception point and escorting them to meeting rooms, as well as making teas/coffees and replenishing water for visitors
  • Organise off-site leadership and companywide meetings/off-sites
  • Processing expenses and raising purchase orders where necessary
  • Proof-reading and formatting of documents and PowerPoint presentations
  • Completion of high-level forms, applications and the preparation of documents for business development activities
  • Assistance with ad hoc projects such as event planning or research prior to external meetings
  • Support the EA to the CEO on ad-hoc projects and research tasks as they arise
  • Provide basic absence cover for the EA to the CEO
