Our client has an immediate requirement for a Service Design Lead to join their team based from their Hampshire office.

The Service Design Lead will lead the design of services to support new business development opportunities, ensuring designs have minimal disruption to existing operational teams and that new services and customers are managed from conception to implementation.

Technical / Functional Knowledge and experience:

  • Previous experience in the transition of new IT services in to live/production
  • ITIL Foundation and ITIL Service Design and/or Service Transition Intermediate Certificate
  • Development of Service Acceptance Criteria with key stakeholders in order to ensure all requirements are met
  • Able to document requirements in a clear, concise format including Service Design Packs, Transition Plans, Process Flows.
  • Able to produce Management Information and Reports detailing progress of all activity within their responsibility
  • Management of Risks and Issues, tracking and progression to closure
  • Identification and management of Continual Service Improvement opportunities
  • Use of general IT Service Management toolsets such as Remedy or ServiceNow
