Business Analyst - Insurance

We are currently seeking an opportunity for a Business Analyst to work for one of the UK's leading Insurance companies. As a Business Analyst, you will have experience of leading requirements elicitation processes on projects, including activities and deliverables for defining the business opportunity/problem, planning and executing business analysis, eliciting requirements from stakeholders and requirements documentation. You will hold previous experience working on digital projects for either Pet or Household Insurance.

You will conduct requirements validation with stakeholders, gain appropriate approvals, and manage the change processes for requirements documentation, ensuring that there is clear requirements traceability throughout the lifecycle of the project. You will critically review and evaluate any proposed solutions identifying alignment with business strategies making recommendations to key stakeholders ensuring they are fully aware of key risks and assumptions. You will continually evaluate the quality of all deliverables, including those of 3rd parties, to ensure the end product is fit for purpose and are acceptable to all stakeholders

As a Business Analyst, you will have a strong understanding of BA principals and practice with good communication, influencing and persuasion skills. You will ideally be progressing towards a National Business Analyst Diploma however this is not essential. You will have an analytical and structured approach and hold a strong attention to detail and be result driven.
