Are you a talented Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys building and working with Linux and AWS?
You will be building and operating in a Linux environment and IaaS/SaaS cost effectively, this in correlation with AWS especially cloudformation and lambada.
Your duties are customer focused. You will be building solutions that will keep the Linux estate and cloud secure and up to date. Along with that you will be designing and implementing a central solution for Linux infrastructure which will be used for management and monitoring. You will also be operating development and re-platforming tools. Integration and deployment are crucial as well as experience with containers e.g. Docker software
You will be a 'T-shaped' DevOps enthusiast who is an effective communicator that will understand complicated communication and technical topics in a simple way but with a powerful narrative. You will have an eye for detail to ensure quality assurance and customer happiness is maintained at all times. You will be able to setup and manage continuous integration jobs, continuous delivery pipelines and config management tools such as ansible and cloudformation. As well as this expose to using and building on top of industry standard monitoring tools for both on prem and cloud usage including Splunk, Graphite and AWS Cloudwatch
You may have certain qualifications such as AWS and may be familiar with a programming language e.g. Python, Bash, Shell, Go, Ruby or Powershell. You may also be familiar with managing and deploying internal tools, with that you may be aware of CICD in particular with Jenkins or any similar tool.
