Bid Director - Finance Transformation
Our client who are one of the UK's leading telecommunication companies in the UK are looking for a Bid Director to join their team based in Newbury on an initial year's contract.
The Bid Director initiates, coordinates and consolidates the technical, delivery and operational assessment of complex opportunities by managing all delivery and operations entities and stakeholders at a global and local level. The Bid Director assesses the combined delivery and operations stakeholders' assessment output including risks, processes (including gaps), costs, resource requirements and timelines providing an overall output and recommendation back to Enterprise Technology for inclusion in wider company governance processes.
The Bid Director will actively manage on-going sales opportunities requiring delivery and operations resource input throughout the commercial bid management process. This will include helping to write bid responses for Delivery questions, providing customer presentation collateral, and creating high level project plans and documentation. He/she will further ensure a successful hand-over to the delivery lead during internal due diligence processes, pre-contract mobilisation and upon customer contract signature.
- Proven experience with a track record of deploying and delivering multiple, enterprise wide, complex solutions in a network technology and infrastructure environment.
- Educated to technical degree/masters level.
- Project Management qualification (equivalent Prince 2 Practitioner or PMP)
- Programme Management qualification (MSP Foundation) and Service Management qualified (ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner) advantageous for position.
