Are you a self-motivated PMO Analyst who enjoys having to support and drive a team?

As a PMO Analyst you will be supporting the Portfolio Management Office team by tracking the status of programme outcomes, programme & initiative level risk and issue coordination; coordination of the regular reporting cycle to Portfolio & Programme Director and Investment Board members; implementation, review and monitoring of agreed governance principles. Additional responsibilities will include the management of the project process that will include updating and defining & assisting the project manager on large projects.

You will be working closely with the PMO Manager to develop the Standards guide, seeking contributions from Project Managers, Programme Leads, QA Team, Development Team, Finance team and Internal to ensure that the Standards meet best practice

You will be responsible for implementing governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status and delivery of business outcomes, identifying key areas of improvement in current processes and also recording and reporting on key level risks and issues. There will also be the need to carry out quality assurance review process.

You will grow an understanding of the domain and the products and also identify areas of improvement, documenting recommendations and also presenting them.

You will also have excellent attention to detail and also an excellent financial understanding. With that you will be self-motivated with the ability to operate own initiative with minimum supervision. Good time management skills and the ability to build relationships is essential.

You may also have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word with an understanding of project management methodologies such as Prince2 & Agile.
