IT Project Management Support Officer (PMO) - Permanent - Surrey - IT Projects, Project / Programme / Portfolio Support, PMO

My client, a leading construction company, require an IT Project Management Support Officer (PMO) to join them on a permanent basis in their offices in Surrey.

The overall responsibility of the IT Project Management Support Officer (PMO) will be to aid with Project & PMO duties across a portfolio of IT and Business change projects.Further responsibilities include;

  • Performing project reviews with PMs and the wider business to ensure the company's methodologies have been applied effectively - correct methodology, proof of RAID log management, budget tracker is accurate etc.
  • Take ownership of smaller aspects of certain projects with responsibility for delivery growing as the role progresses
  • Own some project's finance reporting
  • Challenge PMs/Stakeholders to ensure the portfolio of projects is delivered on time & budget

Experience required includes;

  • PMO Analyst or Project/Programme Support background - it would offer training and career development to ensure that you reach your career goal, whichever route you decide to take.
  • Demonstrable experience within a project delivery environment
  • Good understanding of the IT & Business Change process (CAB, CRB etc.)
  • A qualification such as Prince2, APMP, P3 etc. would be highly advantageous.
