IT Security Assessor - Permanent - London Bridge

I am currently recruiting for an IT Security Assessor to join my client, an international FinTech business, based in London Bridge on a permanent basis.

The IT Security Assessor will be responsible for supporting the business technical team in an exciting, hands-on role. You will be responsible for Auditing the IT Security of all internal teams and suppliers across the group. The IT Security Assessor will ensure continued confidence in the security of suppliers and also working very closely with the CISO to road map security audits and identity any potential threats to the business.

Key Skills Required of the IT Security Assessor:

  • Experience of auditing third parties and supplier assurance
  • Solid technical understanding of IT Security best practice, common attack types and detection/prevention methods including knowledge of the following:
    • CIS Security Benchmarks
    • OWASP
    • NIST
  • Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS and ISO27001 Standards
  • Information security qualifications would be beneficial

Key Responsibilities of the IT Security Assessor:

  • Conduct full audits with all suppliers, implementing solutions to ensure ISO27001 ISMS policies, regulatory and contractual obligations are adhered to
  • Identifying risks, developing solutions and owning the process through to resolution
  • Produce and deliver high quality compliance reports
  • Reporting on vulnerability issues and possible solutions
  • Assisting with and leading cyber-awareness education programmes and workshops
