A Service Transition Manager is required by this Major IT Consultancy to provide the key client interface for the design and delivery of support services for the applications that will be used by a wide range of internal and external clients. In order to secure this Service Transition Manager role the successful candidates will need to have experience of working in a major IT Service provider and have demonstrable experience of Service Design AND / OR Transition Management of a range of applications. As such you will ideally be ITIL certified (pref. to Intermediate design or transition levels) and have demonstrable experience in gathering client support requirements, liaising with the development and release management teams and managing the transition process through to go live, including delivery of all knowledge transfer and training requirements. Those Service Transition Managers who have experience of successfully transitioning in to service Cloud based applications on AWS, Azure or Google and as such working with Agile development teams from within a major IT service provider for major FTSE 250 clients would have an advantage in securing this role.
