Are you a motivated & forward thinking Senior Python Developer?
We are looking for a Permanent Senior Python Developer who has experience with DevOps and programming languages such as Python.
You could be working on, designing and implementing tooling for AWS and Heroku governance across a large cloud estate, as well as ensuring solutions achieve the required quality standards through close collaboration with product owners and teams across the company. As well as ensuring solutions are robust and technically fit, as well as maintaining quality standards through close collaboration with other member of the team.
You will help mentor and coach more junior members of the team in good software development practices. You will be able to setup and manage continuous integration jobs, continuous delivery pipelines and config management tools like ansible and cloudformation
The client uses python, but skills in other languages and a willingness to learn python would certainly be considered. We are looking for someone with experience in some of the following: automated builds, unit testing, using APIs, defining infrastructure as code or hands on experience with AWS and if so a certification is desirable.
You will be working as part of an agile team utilising software development which will include test automation, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code and application monitoring.
You may have experience to API's and REST-based microservices.
As well as provide support to other delivery teams and help them utilise cloud platforms efficiently, safely, and cost effectively.
As well as this they are wanting someone who is collaborative in nature, customer focussed, motivated and a self-starter who likes to pick up new skills quickly.
