Technical Support (IDC)

Long term contract - Redditch

I am currently recruiting for a Technical support based on shift patterns 3 days, 3 days, 4 night rota. This role will be reporting to the Operations Manager and be responsible for installations of PC, Server and networking equipment. Responding to problem solving issues. Installing all cables, connections and cross connections to the data centre.

Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills. Experience of network cabling infrastructure (MDF, IDF, DMARC), Ability to dress cables/wires (Cat 5/7 and fiber-optic cabling). Ability to support hardware including PC's and Windows Os. Good all round knowledge of TCP/IP and Cisco equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global telecommunications company with a long term contract with the ability to work with multiple customers and environments.
