Change and Communication Manager

(Remote)

My client are looking for a Change and Communication's manager to work remotely and they are looking for a candidate who will support the "Engage & Develop Our People" stream of the Global One IT Organisation Transformation by providing organisation and people change management and communications expertise, to help ensure successful embedding of our new organisation and ways of working across our global IT team

Responsibilities

  • Providing guidance based on experience gained in successful global organisation changes, including suggesting and appropriate engagement strategies to effect behavioural and mindset change
  • Supporting the existing project team with their change management and communications needs, including coaching to develop our internal capability, as well as actively leading and carrying out change activities
  • Developing innovative, exciting ways to communicate and motivate our people e.g. videos/apps
  • Providing guidance on the people change & communications needs surrounding our transformation towards an Agile way of delivering change
  • Working with our regional representatives to help track and align rollout of engagement strategies across different IT teams and locations
  • Internal stakeholder management across IT

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Extensive experience in managing the people and organisational aspect of change, specifically embedding behavioural and mindset change
  • Experience in effecting cultural shift in a corporate environment
  • Hands-on experience implementing innovative engagement strategies and communication techniques
  • High-level understanding of IT ways of working and terminology, especially Agile project management methodologies
  • Experience of digital transformation in a corporate environment
  • Experience working across diverse cultures globally
  • Experience working with a remote team and use of virtual meeting technologies and tools
  • Ideally knowledge of the ChangeFirst "People-Centred Implementation" change management methodology or a similar organisational/people change methodology
