Change Manager

Our financial client is recruiting for a Change manager to join there Edinburgh team for a 6 months contract.

Essential experience:

  • Experience dealing with high volumes of change in a timely manner
  • Experience managing technical conflict and scheduling appropriately
  • Solid experience of technical infrastructure and the ability to understand interdependencies between components within a technical change
  • Experience reviewing technical planning and the ability to assess the suitability of those plans without necessarily understanding all of the technical detail
  • Experience managing stakeholder conflict in a professional manner
  • An excellent understanding of the relationship between good change governance and Customer service protection and the ability to apply common sense in order to deliver outcomes safely
  • ITIL V3 foundation qualification
  • Experience working within an enterprise environment with more than 1000 customers
  • Experience taking escalations where a satisfactory outcome cannot be achieved for all
  • Experience in guiding an organisation towards evolving change governance maturity
  • Experience Setting, Adjusting and interpreting KPI's for change management where MI may be difficult or non existent
  • An understanding of industry standards for process governance and the ownership of benchmarking our process and improving our maturity scores

Desirable:

  • Service now ITSM toolset experience within a change management environment
  • ITIL v3 intermediate or better qualification
  • Experience generating and creating reporting within change. Good presentation skills
  • Experience working within a financial services company
  • Experience working in other ITS governance functions to give a well rounded experience set
  • Experience presenting to large audiences and conveying technical process to non technical audiences
  • Demonstrable experience working externally from your organisation with Vendors related to change management understanding future trends, new ITSM toolset releases and the ability to translate that experience into service improvement

Qualifications

  • ITIL V3 foundation
  • ITIL V3 Intermediate 12 points or greater
  • Lean six sigma certification is desirable
