Systems Administrator - 6 months - Edinburgh

A well renowned Top Tier Investment bank is seeking a Systems Administrator join their Edinburgh based team.

This candidate will be responsible for making sure the team uses the values and practices of Scrum. They help create a high performing team, increasing the productivity, frequency and quality of delivery, and driving the continuous improvement of the team. Support the team with planning, prioritisation and tracking of work.

The candidate suitability is determined by the following skills set and experience that are detailed bellow:

  • Co-ordination of the "Dual Access" Systems Administration process
  • Consistent and responsive 'front door' for all requests
  • Interim cross heritage access to colleagues satisfied quickly
  • Optimum solutions selected from options currently available
  • IT Systems Administration of the New Starter, Mover and Leavers process.
  • Provision, administration and trouble-shooting of Email Accounts within MS Exchange and Outlook.
  • Use of Active Directory to create and administer Security Groups.
  • Provision of Systems Security Tokens to Colleagues
  • Provision and administration of shared files (NFTS)
  • Provisioning of Mobile Devices, including BYOD.
  • Processing and tracking of progress using the Service Now Enterprise Management Tool
  • Application of ITIL Best Practices to achieve Systems Administration Service Level Agreements.
