Press Release Edinburgh Office Move 18.12.17

Moving on up: Specialist tech recruitment provider Lorien is expanding its presence in Edinburgh

Specialist technology recruitment consultancy and recruitment solutions provider Lorien is relocating to a new office in the heart of Edinburgh’s West End as part of its expansion in the city.

The move, which marks Lorien’s twelfth year in the Scottish capital, is the result of organic and strategic growth. Lorien opened its doors in Edinburgh in 2005 to support a long-term client with their recruitment drive in the Scottish market. Now firmly embedded in the community, Lorien’s headcount has almost tripled to meet demand from local businesses and tech talent, prompting the need for a new office that provides the opportunity to scale operations as the business continues to grow.

Situated at Randolph House in the vibrant city centre, Lorien’s new state-of-the-art office has been designed to balance simplicity with contemporary design. The space will serve as an agile and dynamic venue to host candidate tech meet ups, client meetings, workshops and networking events as Lorien champions forward-thinking recruitment strategy and market insight.

CEO Claire Marsh, who originally moved to Edinburgh to spearhead operations and develop Lorien’s footprint in the capital, said:

We’ve celebrated a lot of successes in Edinburgh in the past decade and I’m proud of what the team have achieved - they have collectively helped over 7,000 technology, change and transformation candidates to find new career opportunities and always place their customers and candidates at the heart of what they do. The Edinburgh tech market is an exciting place to be and the increase in the number of start-ups and tech businesses moving into the city is testament to the strength of the talent that is available. We’re excited to be part of that movement and we look forward to supporting even more customers with their growth plans and providing our talent communities with fulfilling and engaging opportunities as we enhance and expand our presence in the city
